Gregory Armon-Jones
MANAGING PARTNER
Gregory has over 15 years’ experience as a headhunter within financial markets. He is one of the founding partners with responsibility for the front office search business. He had previously spent 10 years at Armstrong International where he ran their Foreign Exchange and eFICC search practice and has vast experience working with investment banks, hedge funds and asset managers. Outside of work, Gregory is also a Committee Member of NESsT, a charity that backs and invests in social enterprise in areas of extreme poverty. He is also the Chairman and founder of a ping pong group called the Claygate Olympians, they have over 50 members although none of them have ever represented their country at an Olympic level.
Ian King
Associate Partner
Ian is an Associate Partner of the firm focused on Senior Risk assignments in the Financial Services sector. Previously he has enjoyed a long and successful career in Investment Banking, having held senior risk officer roles at top firms such as, Barclays, Dresdner Kleinwort and JP Morgan. Ian is also a qualified and practicing executive coach. This particular passion was honed through his many years as a people manager and developer of talent. Aligned with this, he has a resolute belief in the value of ‘best fit’ recruitment being the key to maximising career potential, performance and fulfilment. Ian is also a business consultant, is a skiing enthusiast, and has an irrational devotion to Everton football club!
Emma Davison
Associate
Emma is an Associate at Armon-Jones Partners and supports our Practice Leads across multiple search businesses, whilst expanding her knowledge of the FX industry. She graduated in 2020 from the University of Nottingham with a First Class BA (Hons) degree in Politics. Outside of the office, Emma is an avid skier and loves to travel.
Amy Wood
Associate
Amy is an Associate at Armon-Jones Partners, and manages the firm’s legal practice, whilst also working on hedge fund and investment bank searches. She graduated in 2019 from the University of Leeds with a First Class BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology. Outside of work, Amy enjoys travelling, competitive dancing, and has a side hustle drawing portraits.
